About Boomerang HR

Founded by Marta Turba, Boomerang HR Solutions was created out of a passion for great rewards and their impact on people, families, communities, and organizations. What began in 2011 as a freelance project alongside Marta’s corporate Total Rewards roles grew from a desire to share compensation knowledge with emerging HR professionals, support career transitions, and provide pro bono rewards guidance to community and nonprofit organizations.

In 2019, Marta joined WorldatWork, the leading global association dedicated to advancing the Total Rewards profession. As Vice President of Content Strategy, she collaborated with rewards experts worldwide to identify emerging trends, tackle professional challenges, and create content that advanced the growth of Total Rewards practitioners through education, certification, research, and thought leadership.

Today, with over 25 years of HR experience across technology, professional services, financial services, and healthcare, Marta has returned to focus on working directly with organizations. Through Boomerang HR and Rewards Solutions, she partners with clients to design rewards strategies that maximize the impact of broad-based compensation, benefits, executive and sales compensation, and work–life programs on both people and business performance.
